Managing Domains for Hybrid Configuration with On-Premise"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Configuring On-Premise Active Directory to Support Additional Domains<\/h2>\n<h3>Seamless SSO<\/h3>\n<p>The goal with this is for users to logon to the local domain and be automatically logged in to Microsoft 365<\/p>\n<h3>Adding another UPN (User Principal Name)<\/h3>\n<p>To allow your users to be associated with another domain you need to add a UPN for that domain in Active Directory.<\/p>\n<p>To do this:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to &#8220;Active Directory Domains and Trusts&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Go to Properties<\/li>\n<li>From here you can add an alternative UPN suffix<\/li>\n<li>Then you can select this alternative domain name as the username for your users in AD<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Adding and Verifying Additional Domain Names in Microsoft 365 \/Azure<\/h2>\n<p>You must have your domain setup with public DNS to set this up.<\/p>\n<h3>Adding a Domain<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to M365 Admin Centre -&gt; Settings -&gt; Domains<\/li>\n<li>Click add a Domain<\/li>\n<li>Enter the domain name<\/li>\n<li>Click Use This Domain<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Verifying the Domain<\/h3>\n<p>If it is a GoDaddy domain you can just use your GoDaddy credentials.
